Serenity in Activity: An Introduction to Tai Chi Chuan

Wren

In a world that often pulls us toward extremes, this workshop invites you to explore a different way—cultivating steadiness, presence, and ease from within.

Together, we’ll step into the foundations of Tai Chi Chuan, an ancient moving practice rooted in balance, flow, and embodied awareness. You’ll be introduced to its history, philosophy, and symbolism, while learning elements of the Short Yang Form through guided, accessible instruction.
Tai Chi is often described as meditation in motion. Through slow, intentional movement, we begin to quiet the mind, soften tension, and reconnect with a sense of internal harmony—even in the midst of activity.

This workshop is open to all levels. Whether you’re new to movement practices or have experience with yoga, dance, or mindfulness, you’ll be supported in moving at your own pace and discovering what feels grounded and sustainable in your body.

Come as you are.
Slow down.
Find serenity—right in the middle of it all.
