2025 Summer Sidewalk Art Festival July 5
Join us for our annual Summer Sidewalk Art Festival on Saturday, July 5 from 9am-4pm. You can expect over 100 Maine-based artists and vendors, a College Art Tent, live music and plenty of food and drink options all on Harlow, Franklin, and Central Streets in Downtown Bangor.
This is a wonderful opportunity to shop for unique items from our jury-selected artists from all across the state while enjoying Downtown Bangor in the summer!
As the premier arts and culture destination in Central Maine, the Downtown Bangor Partnership seeks to highlight the artists and arts organizations located in the Bangor Region. Visitors are encouraged to stroll the streets of the entire Downtown area to explore its public art, permanent statues and numerous galleries. Downtown also offers a variety of shops and restaurants!
Apply as an Artist
Artist applications should be submitted by Friday, April 15. You will be contacted by May 30 with more information if you have been chosen. Applicants are selected by a committee of artists and downtown business owners, who review each application to ensure that the Festival features a broad array of skilled, versatile artists, makers, and designers in many different media.

This festival typically features more than 60 artist vendors spread throughout Harlow Street and the Abbott Lot, as well as performances, live demonstrations, and delightful food trucks. Stay tuned for application information.
