Local rug braiders have been meeting at the library to work on their craft. Starting this fall, we invite you stop into one of these Monday morning sessions to learn more. Questions like: What is rug braiding, what equipment or fabric do you need, and is it hard to learn? will be answered. This is an informal session, not a workshop. Come in and try a new but centuries-old fiber craft that has decorated the floors of homes for generations.
