ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Andrew Speed is a painter, poet, and theater administrator living in Orono, Maine.
Raised in Washington and Knox County, Andrew’s work has appeared in solo and group shows across Southern, Midcoast, and Eastern Maine. His paintings live in private collections from Maine to Arizona, and as far-flung as Florida and Copenhagen, Denmark.
A self-published poet, Andrew’s writing has also been featured in The Maine Review, The Stolen Island Review, The Puckerbrush Review, and Technology of the Sun.
He currently serves as Business Manager for Penobscot Theatre Company in Bangor.
