Date/Time:
November 21, 2024 - December 1, 2024
Recurrence:
Daily from until
Location:
Chance, Risk, and Opportunity at the Bangor Public Library

On World Fisheries Day land a selfie with the biggest fish in Bangor and share your biggest fish story with us for a chance at a signed art print by Joey Rizzo!

We’ve been fortunate to have a fantastic piece of one-of-a-kind art to experience during Artober and November! Chance, the 14-foot sea run brookie, has lived at the library since its arrival, but it won’t be there forever! So, in honor of World Fisheries Day, we felt it would be a good time to encourage everyone to check out this spectacular sculpture and take a picture to remember it by.

Learn more about Chance here!

We want you to visit Chance, Risk, and Opportunity – the giant trout on the Library lawn – and take a selfie between World Fisheries Day, November 21 and Sunday, December 1st.

Then submit that selfie to us here: https://forms.gle/6xPKMrGudkvi1RW16

We’ll feature the submissions on the Downtown Bangor Partnership website and social media channels. AND one submitter will be selected at random to receive an art print signed by artist Joey Rizzo!

We hope you’ll take the chance on landing a wonderful piece of art celebrating our natural world!
