The Briar Patch is teaming up with Literacy Volunteers of Bangor and Darlings Ice Cream for Cause for the 12th Annual Children’s Book Drive. Stop in and buy a new or bring a gently used book to donate. Early Chapter books are particularly in demand at the moment, so those would be great to donate!

PLUS! Children’s book author Jen Montgomery-Rice will read her newly published book Joe Bunny Spring to Life in the 11 AM hour. Jen was born and raised in Searsport, Maine, and now lives in Southern Maine. Previously, Jen volunteered as a Literacy Volunteer of Bangor tutor and board member.
