From large festivals, concerts and theatre, to showcases from local artisans and musicians, there is always something to enjoy in downtown Bangor.
Arts and culture are interwoven into the fabric of downtown Bangor. For more than 150 years theaters, arts and music have been integral parts of the community. Today, there are visual artists, filmmakers, musicians, poets and writers and digital creators living and working in downtown Bangor, and performing and showing their works in a wide variety of venues.
