Join the Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA) at Husson University for Sleigh the Holidays, a free, inclusive, and sensory-friendly holiday celebration for children and families in our community!
This event is designed for children of all abilities. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where every child can participate comfortably, and where parents and caregivers feel supported and included.
Event Highlights:
– Sensory-friendly Santa meet-and-greet with quieter introductions
– Adaptive crafts and gift-wrapping stations
– Sensory bins and hands-on play activities
– “Reindeer Run” gross motor obstacle course
– Holiday storytime and interactive music
– Calm and quiet spaces for emotional regulation
– Parent comfort area with refreshments
This community event is hosted by SOTA with the support of Husson student organizations across campus who will be hosting themed activity stations. Together, we’re celebrating inclusion, accessibility, and the joy of the holiday season!
