The University of Maine along with Bangor Beautiful will be hosting an unveiling of a new mural in downtown Bangor on May 3, 2-4 PM (rain date May 4). This mural is called the Penobscot River Ecology mural and conveys the science and importance behind riverine species including fish, mammals, mussels, and bugs. The event will be tabled by conservation groups like the American Fisheries Society and the University of Maine Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Conservation Biology. The event will also include live music, family friendly activities, and food.
