Penobscot Theatre Company’s first annual Heroes Night will take place on Saturday, March 4th at 7:00pm, in conjunction with that evening’s performance of TRAPPED: The Musical. A Lobster Tale. Heroes Night is an annual celebration of unsung heroes in the Bangor region who are making valuable contributions to our community.
We’re dedicated to uplifting our community and want to recognize people who’ve gone above and beyond to make the greater Bangor area a better, healthier, safer, happier place to live, said PTC Executive Director Jennifer Shepard. We’re setting aside a celebratory evening (March 4) to host community heroes and their guests for a performance of Trapped.
PTC asked its corporate sponsors and board members to nominate heroes for the event – individuals who they found to be making important contributions to the good of the community. This inaugural group of 9 Heroes will receive recognition in a commemorative program featuring their stories as well as a
champagne reception with the audience, following the 7 p.m. March 4 performance.
