Bangor Contra is celebrating June with a special techno contra dance called by DJ Pawz, with Pride themed pop music, blacklights, and more! Bring your friends, glitter, and glow in the dark attire!
Each event has a community dance from 6-6:45pm for new-to-contra folks and young families. There is also an open band with experienced musicians to help lead the group. The main contra is from 7-10pm and is open to all, no partner or experience necessary to have a good time. Contra is a great intergenerational, community oriented social dance that we’re excited to bring back to this community.
6PM-7PM: Community Dance
Family Friendly, Simple dances. Bring an instrument and join the open band! $2 admission, children under 10 free.
7PM-10PM: Contra Dance
Suggested $15-$25 donation based admission fee. We ask you pay what you can so we can pay our performers fairly and can continue to bring amazing new entertainment each month!
