The Pan New England Steel Band Festival is a two-day celebration of music and culture and this year we are thrilled to celebrate our 33rd Festival at the Bangor Waterfront in collaboration with the Downtown Bangor Partnership and Bangor Parks & Recreation.
The excitement kicks off at 7:00 pm on Saturday, May 2nd with a high energy street dance featuring Bangor’s own PanStorm!
The festival on Sunday, May 3rd starts at 11:00 am with over a dozen steel bands from Maine and New Hampshire. Bands feature players of all ages, and play in a round robin format finishing with a group piece played together by all bands.
Food trucks will be on site both days for refreshments.
Admission is free and open to the public!
