Bangor Police Department Museum

The Bangor Police Department museum contains hundreds of authentic police items dating back to the 1700’s. Special displays include mannequins dressed in actual uniforms, a scrapbook of news articles going back to the early 1800’s and a mobile one-person jail cell called a “tramp chair.” The museum may be viewed by making an appointment.
