Ambassador Reports

The Downtown Bangor Ambassadors are tasked with helping to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for residents, businesses and visitors.

The six-person team patrols the district on foot, frequently in lower-visibility areas. Services provided include security patrols, checking alleys, garages, and parks and private business checks. The team participates in keeping the environment clean by removing hazardous waste, including needles, and augmenting the City’s regular management of litter in private and public areas. Additionally, the team provides safety and wellness checks and personal safety escorts upon request.

The information contained in this report is for activities reported for February 2026. The data and information are obtained from Ambassadors conducting patrols and entered in the Statview software.
