The Greater Bangor Recreation Economy for Rural Communities (GBRERC) project, which is currently working on market research, branding, and marketing of the region through a grant awarded by the Maine Office of Tourism’s Marketing Recovery Program.
The goal of this project is to develop and promote the region as a destination for outdoor recreation and cultural tourism, and increase river access, community connectivity, and collaborative partnerships.
