DESCRIPTION:The convenience of online tools is great\, but what security
  and privacy issues come with it? This workshop will discuss the risks o
 f using online services\, and provide concrete\, practical steps to help
  protect your privacy\, including password managers\, alternative web br
 owsers\, ad-blockers\, and other settings and tools.\n\n\n\nHannah Cyrus
 \, Digital Media Librarian\, will offer this class in-person in the comp
 uter lab at the Bangor Public Library from 2:00-4:00 PM on Wednesday\, M
 ay 6. In-person attendees are encouraged to bring their own devices\, or
  library laptops will be available. Virtual attendance by Zoom is also p
 ossible. This class is free\, but space is limited\, so registration is 
 required. To register\, use our online form below\, or call Hannah at 92
 2-6055.\n\n\n\nThe library offers regular technology workshops on differ
 ent subjects. All workshops are free of charge. Participants are encoura
 ged to bring their own laptop computer or device if they have one they w
