 th at 3:00pm for a free concert\, presented by St. John's Episcopal Chur
 ch\, featuring Traditional Gospel Singer Roosevelt André Credit. Mr. Cr
 edit is a Bass-Baritone\, performances include: (Met) Die Meisterzinger\
 , Porgy and Bess\, and X\, The Life and Times of Malcolm X\; (Broadway/N
 ational tour) The Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess\, Hal Prince’s Show Boat
 . Other performances include Le Prophéte with Bard Summerscape Opera\, 
 and Oscar Award winning movie 12 Years A Slave. Roosevelt Credit’s mus
 ic was featured in the award winning documentary Big Little Sis. He can 
 also be seen on the Last Week Tonight with John Oliver: “Our Lady of P
 erpetual Exemption” parody segment. Roosevelt is a member of The Choir
  of St. Ignatius Loyola in New York\, composer\, conductor\, recording a
 rtist\, and is also an Eagle Scout. He holds a Bachelor of Science degre
 e in Music Education from Oregon State University\, where he was awarded
  the Most Distinguished Alumni Award. Roosevelt Credit has a Masters deg
 ree in Opera Performance and a Masters degree in Conducting\, both from 
 Northwestern University. Roosevelt is no stranger to the Bangor communit
 y\; he has performed alongside John Haskell for more than 15 years. He i
 s excited to be in concert at St. John’s Episcopal and working with Jo
 hn Bapst Memorial High School singers under the direction of Colin Graeb
 ert.
