DESCRIPTION:Let's all POUND THE PAVEMENT to support those affected by ca
 ncer. The 14th Annual Pound the Pavement is scheduled for Sunday\, Octob
 er 4th.\n\n\n\nThe POUND THE PAVEMENT is a Color Fun Run. It is a 5K wal
 k/run event. At each kilometer mark\, Pound the Pavement runners/walkers
  are doused from head to toe in a different colored powder. Participants
  wear white at the starting line and finish the race plastered in color.
 \n\n\n\nAnd\, that's just the beginning of the fun!\n\n\n\nOnce the run/
 walk is over\, the fun continues at the finish line with a visit to the 
 Sea Dog and two (2) complimentary beverages for all those 21 years of ag
 e and over! Don't miss the party with photo ops\, friendship\, and celeb
 ration!\n\n\n\nThis is a fun event created to support those affected by 
 cancer.\n\n\n\nThe FIRST 200 registered will get a FREE goodie bag. Good
 y bags contain randomly placed gift cards - are you feeling lucky?REGIST
 ER BEFORE SEPTEMBER 1st. All individuals registering before September 1s
 t will receive a FREE Pound the Pavement Tshirt.\n\n\n\nFUNDRAISE and su
 pport the Purple Iris Foundation and receive awards based on the amount 
 of funds raised!All proceeds go to our programs\, helping individuals li
 ving in Maine who are dealing with the effects of cancer.
