 ceeds going to Living Innovations in Bangor\, which provides support to 
 people of all ages and abilities to have a good life at home and in the 
 community.\n\n\n\nA trusted name in floral design for over 80 years\, Lo
 ugee &amp\; Frederick’s made the move to 21 Washington Street in April
  2025. The relocation marks a significant new chapter for the business\,
  offering an 18\,000-square-foot space that supports continued growth an
 d innovation.\n\n\n\nUnder the leadership of owner Rhoda Burke\, Lougee 
 &amp\; Frederick’s is expanding its offerings to include a wider selec
 tion of cards\, green plants\, and locally crafted artisanal products. A
  larger floral cooler also allows the shop to introduce DIY flower arran
 gement stations and hands-on floral design classes\, further engaging th
 e community in the joy of floristry.\n\n\n\nLougee &amp\; Frederick’s 
 is also proud to be the only florist in Maine with two AIFD-certified (A
 merican Institute of Floral Designers) florists on staff—a distinction
  that reflects their commitment to quality and creativity.
