The tour is free and all Bangor/Brewer residents\, as well as others in the area\, are invited to view as many gardens as they want. The Tour is to encourage everyone to “grow your own\,” no matter how much or little land they have available to garden with. Gard en seeds and growing information will be available free to all participa nts. In case of rain\, the tour will take place on Sunday\, August 3rd\, with the same schedule.\n\n\n\nSix gardens\, including vegetables\, fru its\, herbs and/or flowers\, within the city limits of Bangor and Brewer \, can be toured in the morning\, 9 AM-noon\, and seven more will welcom e visitors in the afternoon\, 1-4 PM. Gardeners will be available to ans wer questions and offer support and resources to newer gardeners. A 30-m inute workshop (topic to be announced) will take place at Abraham Lincol n School at 11:30 that morning\, and another on “greenhouse production ” that afternoon at 3:30 PM at the Food AND Medicine office and greenh ouse at 20 Ivers St. in Brewer.
