 ing the Bangor Historical Society’s Darker Mount Hope Cemetery Tour\, 
 Friday and Saturday\, October 23 &amp\; 24\, 2026.\n\n\n\nAs the night d
 eepens while you meander the paved paths\, a cast of volunteers will reg
 ale you with stories about the residents of Mount Hope. This nighttime w
 alking tour of one of the oldest garden cemeteries in the country is a s
 easonal favorite.\n\n\n\nTours are conducted on foot and are no more tha
 n one mile\, but may include stairs\, hills\, and uneven terrain. We rec
 ommend sturdy footwear\, warm clothing\, and a flashlight. Tours are con
 ducted rain or shine.\n\n\n\nAdvanced Tickets are required and are sold 
 for specific start times\, starting at 6 pm.\n\n\n\nTickets are now avai
 lable for our Darker Mount Hope Cemetery Tour. Please visit the links be

 available along both sides of the cemetery entry road\, accessible via t
 he State Street gate.\n\n\n\nUse “Second Maine Regiment Memorial” in
