DESCRIPTION:Join us for the closing reception for our Community Portrait
 s project.\n\nTwelve portraits from Robert Shetterly's Americans Who Tel
 l the Truth collection will be added to our What is a Maine Story? Commu
 nity Portraits exhibit.  Some Shetterly portrait subjects or people conn
 ected to them will join us this afternoon. We're keeping the names a sec
 ret for now.  Stop in to view the posters in the Stairwell Gallery to gu
 ess whose portraits will take their place.\n\nArtists\, both students an
 d adults\, will also have work on display.  Artists include community me
 mbers and students at 14th Street School\, Fruit Street School\, Fairmou
 nt School\, Brewer High School\, and Bangor High School.\n\nA guide to s
 ome of Bangor Public Library's collection of portraits that are on displ
 ay throughout the Library will be available.\n\nAt 2:30 PM a short prese
 ntation will take place in the Lecture Hall.
