th Apollo 13\, Ransom\, The Green Mile\, and nine seasons on CSI: NY.\n\
n\n\nInspired by his late son Mac’s music\, most of which was discover
ed shortly after Mac’s passing at a young age from a rare spinal cance
r on January 5\, 2024\, Gary has curated this concert to honor the power
of music and healing. The concert features the Bangor Symphony Orchestr
a in the first half\, including Gary Sinise narrating Aaron Copland’s
“Lincoln Portrait”\, and Gary Sinise &amp\; The Lt. Dan Band in the
second half\, with Mac’s music transcribed by Oliver Schnee\, a musica
l composer and old college friend of Mac’s who also helped bring Mac
s music to life. There will be personal stories\, powerful music\, and
 accompanying video elements.\n\n\n\n"As a father\, I was incredibly touc
hed by Mac's journey and Gary's dedication to bringing the treasure trov
e of his son's music to light\,” BSO Music Director and Conductor\, Lu
cas Richman said. “It will be such a great honor to have Gary here wit
h the BSO playing his son's music\, as well as paying tribute to the gen
erations of veterans who are the focal point of the work being done by t
he Gary Sinise Foundation."\n\n\n\nPresented in conjunction with Gary’
