DESCRIPTION:We’ve partnered with the experts at New Ventures Maine to 
 bring you two finance related workshops this fall. The first interactive
  workshop will cover money management attitudes and styles\, goal settin
 g\, and practical step-by-step instructions on how to create a budget th
 at works for your life.\n\nParticipants will gain a deeper understanding
  of budgeting and financial management\, and will be equipped with the s
 kills and knowledge needed to create and maintain a household budget. Th
 is will enable you to use budgeting to make informed decisions\, priorit
 ize your resources\, and maximize your income.\n\nWhile this series is c
 rafted with ages 18-30 in mind\, all ages are welcome to attend.\n\nRegi
 stration isn’t required to attend\, but those that register will recei
 ve email reminders about the event.\n\nAbout the presenter:\n\nKim Donov
 an\, Workforce Specialist at New Ventures Maine provides career planning
  and financial education classes and one to one coaching to participants
  statewide. Kim has many years of experience working with diverse popula
 tions in workforce\, behavioral health and educational organizations. Ki
 m identifies as a lifelong learner and enjoys the knowledge she gains fr
 om participants in the classes she facilitates and staying open and curi
 ous each day. Kim has a Master of Education degree and a BA in psycholog
 y and criminal justice. She enjoys spending time with family\, particula
 rly her wonderful grandsons\, exploring nature or tending the garden.
