Recognized for her unpretentious charm and incredibly soulful, dynamic vocals, Joëlle Morris, along with jazz pianist Matt Fogg (recently featured on Rich Tozier’s “Friday Night Jazz” on NPR) manages to hit the very tricky balance of incorporating Edith Piaf’s greatest hits such as “La Vie en Rose”, “Hymne à l’amour” and “Non, je ne regrette rien” with fresh and exciting 21st century jazz overtones. Bringing a modern take on classic French chanson to delight audiences with a contagious “joie de vivre”. Sung both in French and in English.
