The Forest Society of Maine (FSM) is a statewide land trust particularly focused on protecting and conserving large tracts of Maine’s North Woods. We employ a multi-faceted approach to conservation to sustain the ecological, economic, cultural, and recreational values of Maine’s forests. FSM’s vision and leadership encourage thoughtful dialogue and conservation actions that encompass the full array of interests and ownerships in Maine’s North Woods.
